Transit Hub Shelter

Located in Oxford Ohio, Hueston Woods State Park was to have a nature center with both public and private program for the community. The spaces were created by more public spaces to private spaces working your way down through the levels, and the balconies gradually expanding downward are to represent the ripples in the water that the nature center faces. The layout of each floor is created to direct attention to the water. When one first walks into the building there is a large section of glazing with access to the first balcony right across from the entrance. this is mimicked on each floor as you descend down each flight of stairs.
